The United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA) is a non-profit organisation concerned to promote the aims and ideals of the United Nations throughout the Australian community. Australia was a founding member of the UN. Likewise UNAA is a founding Member of the World Federation of United Nations Associations which has consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council. In Australia, UNAA is organised on a Federal and State basis with Divisions located in all capital cities.

We hold a wide range of events each year to raise awareness about important international issues from human rights to peacekeeping, celebrate the work of the United Nations, and advocate for a more peaceful and just society.

The UNAA is a national network of divisions in each state and territory of Australia. You can learn about the work of the United Nations Association of Australia here.
